The NYC Wine and Food Festival is an event that’s always worth mentioning. This event is much more than a gathering of celebrities and the best chefs in the world; it’s about sharing a mutual interest, creating a stronger community and giving back to those in need. Many can try to explain the essence of New York’s Wine and Food Festival, but it still remains an event you have to experience for yourself.

The event began in 2007, and was meant to be a one-night-only event. However, in 2008, everything changed when the Festival’s Founder and Director, Lee Brian Schrager (Senior Vice President, Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits of America) decided to launch the inaugural NYCWFF. This event, along with Food Network & Cooking Channel’s South Beach Wine & Food Festival, quickly became a major hit.

What can we expect out of this four night event? (Yes, it’s a four night event, so if you can't make it to one night, don’t worry, you’ll still have other opportunities to join the festivities.)

You can expect over 500 world-renowned chefs, culinary personalities, entertainers, wine and spirit producers and your favorite Food Network and Cooking Channel stars. You’ll also be able to sample wine from over 100 wineries and spirit producers from Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits of New York’s portfolio. The event is held throughout different venues in New York, including the Culinary Campus at Pier 92 and 94. No matter which day you choose to attend, you’re sure to be in for something magical.

All of the proceeds will be donated to the No Kid Hungry® campaign and the Food Bank For New York City. What an awesome way to have a great time and be part of something amazing!
