When a customer of the shop walked in some ten years ago with this question: “Can I show you something?” how is one to respond except with “Sure!” Let’s live dangerously, right? hahaha! So, Greg pulls out an old Lever-model Screwpull cork remover with a few modifications. The screw was replaced by a bi-valve needle and the back of the device held a gas canister. He proceeded to carefully drive the needle through the capsule and cork into the wine. After tipping the bottle on its side, he pressed a button and PRESTO! wine started coming out! The canister is full of food-grade argon which, upon entering the bottle through one channel of the needle, forced the wine out the other channel.
