Yup, it doesn’t get any better than this – your Wednesday night bowl of ice-cream, with the wine right in it. You can even make his relaxing and delicious combination yourself, at home! Pick up a bottle of your favorite (sweet) wine, get creative and indulge! Get started with one of the following recipes:

DARK CHOCOLATE & MALBEC ICE-CREAM

Wine and chocolate are a match made in heaven (if you don't believe us, check out this blog post) , so what could be possibly better than a chocolatey wine ice-cream? Grab your favorite box of super extra dark chocolate ice-cream and your favorite bottle of Malbec, and make this delicious yet simple recipe – you won’t even need an ice-cream maker.

SANGRIA SORBET

Do you love sangria? We do too. Well then, try this fruit-packed sorbet that tastes almost exactly like the alcoholic drink. Flavorful, boozy and super smooth, it’s the perfect grown-up frozen treat on a summer day.

FIG AND MUSCAT ICE-CREAM

Fig season is not quite over yet, and that gives us a great excuse to indulge in this sweet ice-cream. This recipe is so satisfying and easy to make, you just have to try it. We already love the fig-white Muscat combination, but add some salted pistachio praline, and we’re sold!

PEAR AND MOSCATO GELATO

This pear-based gelato tastes just like fall – anise, cinnamon, vanilla bean and cloves all combine harmoniously with the sweet white wine, and the poached pears are so good you’ll think you’re eating your favorite autumn pie.

EASY WHITE WINE ICE-CREAM

You only need three ingredients to make this refreshing treat. Choose a sweet white, add some cream and sugar, freeze, garnish with some fruit or chocolate, and enjoy! Best part is, you don’t need any fancy tools to make this one at home.

CHERRY & ZINFANDEL SORBET

Use up these few cherries you have left with this intense sorbet: you can use any red wine or red wine blend, really, but a Zinfandel will make for an incredibly intense experience, full of rich flavors. The deep red dessert has just the right amount of sweetness and tartness, and we can promise that there won’t be any leftovers…

STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE & PORT ICE-CREAM

Yum, cheesecake. This decadent treat mixes one of my favorite desserts with the dessert wine par excellence, Port, and we cannot resist it. Cherry on top? That strawberry-port syrup, topped with some Graham crackers. It doesn’t get better than this.
