Needle Clearing Tool (1)
If your Coravin Needle becomes clogged, use the Needle Clearing Tool to clear out any cork particles.

How to Replace the Coravin Needle
Remove
Grasp the Needle Grip and unscrew it to release the Needle from the System.
Install
Slide the pointed end of the new Needle back into the Needle Guide. Screw the Needle Grip into the System until it clicks into place.. You are ready to pour!

How should I store my extra Needles?
When not in use, the best way to store extra Needles is in the packaging they came in. If you purchased an extra single Needle, store it in the clear tube it came in. If you purchased the Needle Kit, keep it in the box. If you have the Coravin Pedestal Base, you can store Needles for all Coravin models except the Model Eleven in the drawer of that base. Taking care of your extra Needles will keep them in the best shape, ready to be used to access wine.

Easily accessible
I consider my Coravin an investment, that I will use at least 3 times a week. Therefore, I need it in an accessible, safe handy place, where I can easily make use of it and with everything I may need right there (such as the aerator, spare needle, etc). That is why purchased this pedestal base.
