Destination Napa Valley
Napa Valley “Judgement of Paris” Tour & Tasting
The most historically important wine tasting, which cemented the prestige of American wines around the world, occurred in Paris, in 1976, when French wine critics were poured glasses of American Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. French wine critics rated the American wines, which they tasted blind, higher than the best wines France had to offer. To commemorate this historic event, on your visit to America’s premier wine-producing region, let Destination Napa Valley take you to the wineries that produced these historic award-winning wines. Your day-long tour can include visits to Chateau Montelena, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, Spring Mountain Vineyards, Clos du Val, Freemark Abbey, or Heitz Wine Cellars with a maximum of 4 wineries/day. The tour includes you and up to 9 friends in a custom-fitted, Destination Napa Valley Mercedes Sprinter, which is fully equipped with captain chairs, an orchestral sound system, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and even live TV.
