Andrea Robinson, one of only 26 women in the world to hold the title
of Master Sommelier, was the first woman to be named Best Sommelier in the United
States and first American woman to compete in the Concours Mondial des Sommeliers.
She is the author of four top-selling books on wine and food, a 3-time James Beard
Award winner, award-winning lifestyle television host, and creator with her husband
John of a game-changing line of wine stemware called The ONE. Having created
innovative and award-winning wine and education programs for fine dining restaurants,
Starwood Hotels and as a Dean of the International Culinary Center culinary school in
New York City (of which she is a chef graduate), Andrea now curates Delta Air Lines’
wine program (since 2007), consults to Norwegian Cruise Line, and since 2006, grows
fine wine grapes in the Napa Valley.
