How it Works

1. Insert

Align the Coravin® Timeless™ over the neck of the bottle and press down firmly in one smooth motion. Use only with natural corks – check by removing the foil and pressing firmly with your thumb. If the cork moves, do not use the Coravin Timeless+ this way – instead uncork and use the screw cap accessory.

2. Tip & Pour

Tilt the bottle until the Spout is over the glass. Quickly press and release the Trigger to pour – do not hold the Trigger down. Short presses help preserve gas. Press again if needed. To stop pouring, simply return the bottle to an upright position.

3. Remove & Store

Hold the bottle with one hand and pull the system up with the other in a steady motion. Store the bottle on its side in a cool, dark space suitable for wine.

Timeless+ Refined Design

Unlike traditional wine preservers that simply delay oxidation after the bottle is opened, the Coravin® Timeless™ Six+ never removes the cork. Its pioneering technology uses a precision-engineered needle and 100% Pure Argon gas to access and pour wine while shielding the remaining wine from oxygen. The rest of the bottle stays completely unaffected, continuing to age naturally for enjoyment even years later. Enhanced with premium accessories and crafted finishes, the Six+ brings elevated control and design to wine enjoyment, glass by glass.

Capsule Life

Each Capsule will allow you to pour up to 15 five-ounce (150ml) glasses of wine with Timeless Systems or 20 five-ounce glasses with Pivot™ Systems.

Off-Center Needle

The Needle in the Coravin System is intentionally off-center, so the Needle will insert into the cork in a different place every time.

Average Pour Rate

On average, a 5-ounce (150ml) pour of wine with a Standard Needle will take 25 to 29 seconds.

FAQ

How do Coravin Timeless™ wine by-the-glass systems work?

Using your Coravin® Timeless™ wine by-the-glass system is simple: insert, tip, and pour.

Start by placing the system on top of your bottle. In one smooth motion, press down firmly in one smooth motion, this allows the precision-engineered needle to pass through the cork. Tilt the bottle as if you were pouring from an open one. Then, quickly press and release the trigger to inject pure argon gas into the bottle. Wine flows when the trigger is released.

Repeat press-and-release movements to continue your pour. When you’ve poured what you want, tip the bottle upright to stop the flow. To remove the system, grasp the handle and pull straight up.

The cork will reseal naturally, keeping the remaining wine fresh – as if it were never opened – for even years later. For the Timeless Eleven model, just tilt and pour; it pressurizes automatically.

How do I get optimal performance from the Coravin Timeless Aerator?

Please follow these helpful tips: - Clean the Aerator regularly.
- Never use the Vintage Needle.
- Press the Trigger for a little longer for the optimal stream.
- The less wine in the bottle the more gas needed for a steady stream.

What kinds of wine closures work with the Coravin Timeless Screw Cap?

Wines that have a screw top/metal closure will work with the Coravin Timeless Screw Cap attachment.

What is a Coravin Pure™ Capsule?

Coravin Pure™ Capsules power all Coravin Wine Preservation Systems, by pressurizing an unopened bottle of wine with Argon gas to pour a sip, a glass, or more. But not all Argon gas is born equal. Only Coravin Pure™ Capsules utilize our proprietary Four Point Purity Process. Each Capsule pours about 15, 5 ounce glasses of wine with Coravin Timeless Systems and 20, 5 ounce glasses of wine with Pivot Systems.

How many pours should I get per capsule?

The Pivot System will deliver approximately 20 5-ounce pours, (150 ml) per capsule – or about 100 ounces of wine. To optimize your pour, use a short press of the button and let the wine flow. If you wish a bit more just give the button another quick press.

What is the difference between Timeless Needles?

We have a Timeless Needle to support many different situations. Please see below for details regarding each Needle. The following needles are compatible with the Model One, Model Two, Model Two Elite, Model Three, Model Five, Model Six, Limited Edition, Timeless Three, Timeless Six. They are NOT compatible with Timeless Eleven.
